The figures speak for themselves: The surface area of the glazing panels used in the facade is equal in size to the 5,000 sq.m. site used for the headquarters of the leasing and financing firm Albis.
The architects succeeded in creating a light and airy glass palace of an administrative building which is striking without dominating its surroundings. In terms of its formal structure, the building is defined by right angles, geometric shapes and the clarity of its contours. Just as matter-of-fact is the unabashed emphasis on the materials concrete, steel and glass.
At the main entrance: A door station in brushed stainless steel fitted into the framework construction, equipped with a letterbox, concealed peephole camera, electronic door release and two surface area lights.
In the interior of the building, slimline free-standing pedestals set their own unique but unobtrusive accent. The cool elegance and aesthetic appeal of the material blend in with the contemporary architectural styling.
Electronic access control simplifies the management of users and keys. Visitors simply announce their arrival by pressing the solid engraved stainless steel buttons. Their signal can be relayed directly to the staff public network telephones, adding to the flexibility of work organization in the company.
Siedle Steel door stations are used at the internal access points.
The entrance to the underground car park is monitored by a Siedle Vario pedestal with camera, call buttons, speech unit, key-operated switch and card reader.
