Silver in the Architects’ Darling Award 2011

Architects and planners voted to select the most competent manufacturers - and Siedle went straight to 2nd place in the field of "electrical installation". In the "barrier-free" category, the company actually takes the lead over all other contenders. In the Architects’ Darling Award 2011, held last year for the first time, Siedle took silver for its overall performance.

The survey conducted by the Heinze construction portal was completed by more than 1,800 architects and planners. They chose their most favoured contenders from the fields of electrical installation, facade and plumbing technology and scored them in a variety of categories: innovative spirit, sustainability, design, energy efficiency and barrier-free accessibility. The architects and planners surveyed rated the Furtwangen-based firm as particularly competent in the field of "barrier-free accessibility". Here, Siedle scored first place in the ranking.

The raised braille inscription on the large-area call button makes life easier for the visually impaired. The operating elements are easily reached from a seated position.
