The entrance as a TV channel
Is opening up the video functionality of the In-Home bus to the outside. The new bus video demodulator (BVD) permits the video signal to be fed to the TV screen or other video systems.
When there is a call at the door, the image from the entryway camera automatically appears on the TV screen, depending on the device either as a full picture or as a window appearing alongside the currently active program (PIP). However, the new Siedle function does not restrict video demodulation to just TV sets. The bus video demodulator supplies a neutral signal in the FBAS format which can be processed by different video systems. Input as a TV channel is consequently one application possibility, but not the only one. For example, images from the Siedle camera can also be fed into video surveillance systems. |
