Replacing the letterbox system
New gloss for an old letterbox system: Retrofit systems in metal design from Siedle Classic replace fronts of existing series TL 411 systems. The existing housing recessed into the masonry remains intact.
Simple exchange, retention of value
At some point, the time will come: A component is broken, or a letterbox system has become unsightly after decades of use. This is where a sustainable product strategy comes into its own: Siedle offers retrofit systems for its old models which can be fitted onto the old housing without the need for adapters.
Benefit: The existing housing recessed into the masonry, whose replacement would be a major operation, can stay in situ. This saves costs, prevents dust and mess, and eliminates the need to coordinate the work of different trades. In most cases, the existing electrical installation can continue to be used. The electrician simply unscrews the old front, wires up the new one and mounts it on the existing housing. Ready.
This is how Siedle helps maintain the value of an investment - even after decades.
Solid stainless steel, modern technology
The exchange units come with an impressive solid steel front and pass-through flaps with damped closing action. The sturdy attached grip rails are made of the same material and can be engraved as required. This design is far superior to the bent sheet metal used by many letterboxes, and guarantees that the new system will give satisfactory service for just as long as the one it is replacing. The same applies to the door loudspeakers and buttons with nameplate. These are in compliance with the latest technical developments of the Siedle Classic design line.
The exchange models are available from stock for the three most common variants of the old TL 411 series. The dimensions of the front panel, the letter pass-through flaps and the fixing holes are always matched to the existing housing.
