Smart technology for all access points
For this new build by W&B Projects, a compact door unit provides all the access options you require: an OSDP reader offers keyless access via an RFID transponder, smartphone or personal access code. Classic call buttons are available for visitors, while employees' smartphones can be used instead of an indoor unit.
One system, multiple access mechanisms
The requirements: With their expertise in state-of-the-art technology, the team at W&B Projects sets high standards for quality, security and digitalisation in door communication. Employees should be able to access the company building using transponders, codes or smartphones, while visitors should be able to access it in the conventional way, using a doorbell and door opener.
The Siedle concept: The door unit in the Siedle Vario design range features call buttons for admitting visitors and a video camera for security purposes. An OSDP reader incorporates a code lock and RFID technology for user identification. When connected to the Siedle app , employees can also open the door from the outside using their smartphones. At the same time, they can perform the functions of the indoor unit anytime and anywhere. This includes receiving door calls and video images, establishing voice connections and opening the door for visitors. The Siedle Secure Controller is at the heart of Siedle Secure and controls all access control functions, access profiles and users.
The components: A modular Siedle Vario door unit with a door loudspeaker, two call buttons, Siedle 130 camera and an OSDP reader, as well as a Siedle Secure Controller, Siedle Smart Gateway for connecting smartphones to the Siedle app, and all power supply and control units for the Siedle In-Home bus

Door communication and access control system
The Siedle Vario design range can fulfil almost any requirement for the entrance. Modularity is the key principal. Function modules are simply inserted into an installation frame.
Siedle Secure is our product family for access control. It offers solutions for every requirement – from individual room monitoring to networked systems for large building complexes.
Wherever you are in the world, whether you're at home or on the go, via Wi-Fi or a mobile network, the Siedle app can receive door calls, transmit video images from the door camera, establish voice connections and open doors.
Three of our readers support the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). They are seamlessly integrated into the Siedle system environment via the Siedle Secure Controller interface.
“Siedle was able to perfectly implement our individual access requirements.”
