Campo V halls of residence
Location: Stuttgart
Architecture: HHS Planer + Architekten, Kassel
Electrical installation: Elektro- und Lichthaus Knapp, Leonberg
At the entrance to the Campo V halls of residence, the strengths of two specialists come together: door communication from Siedle in a digital parcel box from Renz.
Visitors can call all 126 apartments using the touchscreen with digital bell buttons.
Campo V is a large property with a high turnover of tenants.
The names of all residents can be read off the system's touchscreen – as digital doorbell nameplates as well as their assignment to the letterboxes and parcel boxes.
In addition to the digital doorbell, students benefit from flexible parcel and goods handover: parcel delivery services can make deliveries and neighbours and friends can exchange items between one another.
The digital doorbell also reduces costs for the building management. There's no need for printed nameplates; when a tenant changes, the name is simply changed digitally in the system.
A Siedle door loudspeaker is integrated into the parcel box. The durable technology represents a sustainable investment.
Even the audio indoor stations from the Siedle Basic design line impress with their robust "made in Germany" quality.
Those responsible for the Campo V project were looking for a low-cost version. Otherwise, video door communication could have also been implemented. In that case, a Siedle camera would simply been added to the parcel box
