Siedle and Vixinity: digital building management

Door communication and access control by Siedle, as well as smart building management functions – all via a single user interface. All this is made possible by our partnership with the Swedish software start-up Vixinity: we integrate devices and system control seamlessly into the Vixinity Cloud. This enables centralised control and networking of building services for property managers and residents via a single user interface.

Security is a shared priority for Siedle and Vixinity. Their cloud services comply with GDPR requirements, and both companies host their servers within the European Union. This ensures that all administrative and user data remains within the European legal framework.

Convenient for residents

Book a common room or a washing machine. Report an issue to the caretaker. And, of course, access all door communication functions, whether you're on the go or relaxing on the sofa. Residents can connect to the Vixinity Cloud and turn their smartphone into a control centre for their everyday lives.

When it comes to building management, the major benefits of this partnership are reduced time and costs, as well as simplified processes. All functions can be managed digitally via a single user interface, including the quick and easy updating of tenant names. Communication with residents takes place directly within the Vixinity app, so there is no need for printouts or letters.

Versatile entrance solutions: Siedle Touch

Siedle Touch 5 or Siedle Touch 10 can be used at the entrance. The multifunctional displays support browser‑based management, user groups and the code lock function. Vixinity enhances the features for residents and operators with shared access, booking systems, a voice-based ticket system and displays for electronic building signage.

Flexible for all installation systems

The technical foundation for digital building management with Siedle and Vixinity is provided by our In-Home bus or Siedle Access systems. This makes it suitable for residential, commercial or mixed-use buildings and even entire neighbourhood developments. Connection to the Vixinity Cloud is established via the Siedle Secure Controller, which enables multi-client access management.

Mobile door communication

Whether you’re at home, out and about, on a business trip or on holiday, and whether you're using a Wi-Fi or mobile network connection, the Siedle app always has access to the door intercom system. The app receives door calls, transmits live video images from the door intercom, establishes a voice connection and opens the door – all for up to four locations.

Shared access for everyone

This feature is convenient for service providers and visitors alike, as users can create and send a link via the Vixinity Cloud. The recipient can then open the door with one click within a specified time period.

Integration of smart locks

A Vixinity IP gateway allows smart locks from any manufacturer to be integrated into the system, including those on floor doors. The Vixinity app is used for administration.

The Vixinity app as the key

The Vixinity app, which users can access to manage their building services, can also be used as a house key. To open the door, simply press the door opener button.

Access with registered phone number

Access to buildings linked to the Vixinity Cloud is possible even without the app: a call from a registered mobile phone number automatically triggers the door opener.

Universal access for staff

Chip cards or PINs have replaced the traditional key ring. Thanks to the Vixinity Cloud, property management staff only require one means of identification for all buildings under their management.
