Always up to date: Siedle Access Professional
The most important information about the current release.
Third-party systems and auxiliary cameras integrated
Siedle Access Professional 7.3.1 offers features that guarantee both extremely complex system functionality and a high level of security – in industrial and commercial buildings with sensitive areas, as well as in upmarket residential properties.
The new release enables other systems to be integrated, too, such as those for access control. What's more, users can now switch between images from different cameras connected to the system whilst talking to someone at the door.
We have refined other features and provided a regular security update.
Customised interface to other systems
Version 7.3.1 marks the first step towards integrating other systems, including third-party systems, into our Siedle Access Professional IP system. Not only does this simplify the planning of integrated systems, but it also makes it easier to install the building technology and put it into operation.
Siedle Engineering develops the interfaces required on request, based on the desired functionality. The interface is activated via the function module access licence , which allows the functionality of our IP system to be extended, offering great flexibility.

The range of functions provided by the IP system can be expanded as required using the interface. This could include systems for lift control, building management or access control.

It comes with an interface already set up for Siedle Secure, our access control system. The relay contacts for the central Siedle Secure Controller are provided virtually in the system administration area.

Using an interface for integration means that fewer hardware components are required than with physical cabling. All the functions are managed on the Siedle Access Professional interface.

By integrating external systems into Siedle Access Professional, you can reduce the amount of work involved in planning, installing cables and putting the system into operation, whilst also minimising the space required in the switch cabinet – all of which ultimately saves money.
Integrate cameras and keep everything in view
External IP cameras can now also be used as auxiliary cameras in Siedle Access Professional. To get a better overview of everything, users can switch from the video image captured by the door intercom unit to video images from other cameras. For example, from a front-on view to a side view at the entrance, from an image of visitors at the garage to a view of their registration plate, or from the entrance to a restricted area to inside the area's access control turnstiles.

Auxiliary cameras provide a complete picture of the situation at the entrance. This allows visitors to be identified more clearly and other entrances to be monitored, meaning that sensitive areas can therefore be better protected.

It is easy to switch from one camera image to another whilst speaking to the person at the door intercom unit. Multiple cameras can be selected, ensuring the best possible surveillance.

The ONVIF standard allows different IP cameras to be integrated into Siedle Access Professional and connects the building communication network with professional video surveillance systems.

The auxiliary camera function can be used on all Siedle internal intercom units and on the software clients for internal telephone systems, PCs and concierge terminals that are linked to IP cameras.
Mobile functions and video streaming fully integrated: Access Professional 7.1.4
With this software release, we are taking Siedle Access Professional a considerable step further, particularly in regard to mobile performance. Whether it’s in upscale residential developments, commercial sectors, industry or logistics, the smartphone is increasingly becoming the control centre for building control.
What’s more, digital video decoupling via ONVIF is now possible. And, needless to say, this release also contains further improvements as part of our ongoing system maintenance.

With release 7.1.4, the Siedle app becomes the control centre for Access Professional. It can control up to 44 signals and functions. From displaying the door status to custom functions.

In residential buildings, the Siedle app can control smaller smart home applications. For example, for opening the garage door, rolling up the sun blinds or arming the alarm system.

Open the barrier, activate call rerouting or “Do not disturb” – with the Siedle app, all functions can be controlled. By any employee and from any location.

With Siedle Access Professional, the Siedle app now detects whether someone is at the front door, storey door or the apartment door. This is shown in the app.

A digital signal is available for all cameras which are integrated in an IP system via the Siedle Access door loudspeaker controller. This is called up via ONVIF.

The streams from the integrated cameras can be used, for example, for around-the-clock video surveillance or in other systems, such as panels for building automation.

There is a fee for digital video decoupling for Siedle Access Professional. Licensing, activation and configuration are carried out via a function module .
