Users need an electrical installer

Many Smart Gateways which were installed before 2019 work with an outdated firmware version 1.x. This also applies to the Smart Gateways which are linked to the grey Siedle app. To use the latest Siedle app (black icon), the Smart Gateway firmware must be updated by an electrical installer.

Continue to use mobile functions

Users of the grey Siedle app who wish to use mobile door communication from Siedle after September 2024 need to ask their electrical installer to upgrade their Smart Gateway.

Easy setup

To link the Siedle app to the Smart Gateway and set it up, all you need to do is scan the QR code which your installer will give you after updating the system configuration.

Urgent upgrade advised

For security reasons, we recommend upgrading the Smart Gateway even if a Siedle app is not used in the door intercom system. Future updates will then take place automatically.
