Frequently asked questions about Siedle Touch

Questions about the product

Careful tests carried out in our own EMC lab confirm that the video panel can be operated at temperatures between -20°C and +55°C without any problems.

Siedle Touch is IP65 rated from the front. This means that the device is fully protected against contact, water jets from any direction, and dust cannot enter.

With its robust, 4 mm thick glass, the user interface has an IK08 rating and is therefore protected against vandalism.

Our Siedle Engineering experts are happy to advise you about the customisation options.

Provided the device can be controlled via the IP network, customer-specific information can be changed on the intuitive configuration interface of Siedle Touch.

Questions about installation and mounting

Yes, Siedle Touch is available for surface mounting (AP), flush mounting (UP), and the free standing pedestals from Siedle Steel.

For safety reasons, it must be installed in an area that is protected against the weather and behind the existing front panel. When doing so, the installation depth for the flush-mount housing must be taken into account.

Additional components such as a door loudspeaker module, camera, etc. must be ordered and integrated separately.

No, Siedle Touch is not compatible with products from other providers. Only Siedle products can be installed in a system with Siedle Touch.

Siedle Touch is suitable for installation in outdoor areas protected from the rain. Direct sunlight on the surface of the display must be avoided. In the case of a custom installation solution, the display must be accessible for servicing.
