The high-quality Siedle Axiom video panel is now also available for the In-Home bus – with optimised usability, many new convenience functions and its award-winning Siedle design. It is installed without a separate Smart Gateway; the price remains the same.
The new video panel is a variant of the proven Siedle Axiom. The engineers at Siedle have designed the installation concept such that a Smart Gateway is not required for operation. This considerably reduces the expense and effort required for the door intercom system and its installation. The user interface for the touchscreen has been re-developed and is now significantly easier to use.
“With Siedle Axiom, we are offering a video panel with a 7-inch touchscreen, excellent value for money and an intuitive user interface,” says Dieter Michel, Head of Product Management at Siedle.
Installation and commissioning follow the established Siedle standards for the In-Home bus and can be carried out without special knowledge.
Intuitive operation, individual design
Easy operation begins with two classic buttons for the essential functions: speech and door release. The generous 7-inch (diagonal size) touchscreen ensures that function tiles are clear and unmistakable.
The re-developed user interface with numerous options for customisation makes Siedle Axiom intuitive to use. For example, users can select whether the video feed is automatically displayed in fullscreen mode during a door call. Favourite functions can be arranged as desired on the door call screen, such as a function for switching on an outside light.
Clever details for effortless installation
Siedle Axiom In-Home is also quick and easy to install. First, the wires for the In-Home bus, for the power supply and for the inputs and outputs are wired into two loose terminal blocks which are then inserted into the mounting plate. Finally, the mounting plate is screwed onto the DIN dual box or the wall. Drill holes are provided for both fastening options.
The power supply and wiring are standard, all settings can be made on the touchscreen.
Door communication at its finest
Siedle Axiom In-Home also impresses with its outstanding design. The clear lines, distinctive angles, and slender frame of the panel give the device its striking character. Siedle has won multiple awards for its design – such as the Red Dot Award and the German Design Award.
Siedle Axiom In-Home comes in three colours; a console accessory is available so it can also be used as a table-top device. Siedle Axiom really plays to its strengths in technology and aesthetics in new builds or modernisations of detached or semi-detached homes. At the same time, it is also suitable for video intercom systems in office buildings.
