New Siedle fingerprint scanner
The new Siedle fingerprint scanner offers improved detection and greater comfort at an affordable price.
The access control system features a capacitive line sensor and detects the fine features of a fingerprint much better than conventional sensors. It can store up to 100 different fingerprints.
The improved sensor also works reliably if the user’s finger is dirty or wet. The smart product is self-learning, making identification faster. Data is protected in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is not possible to reconstruct the fingerprint from the scanned features. As the user holds their finger over the sensor, it leaves no traces that can be exploited. The system also rejects forged fingerprints.
The new fingerprint scanner is designed for stand-alone operation and can be delivered with a pilfer safeguard. It can be integrated in the Siedle Vario, Classic and Steel door stations.
