Siedle IQ with app is now also available for the In-Home bus. The new IQ bus telephone standard (BTS) adds mobile door communication to audio intercom systems; the Siedle app brings door calls to your smartphone. This works in both new and existing systems.

Quick installation, easy commissioning

All it takes is a few simple steps to mount the Siedle IQ BTS. Replacing an older in-house telephone is also quick and easy: there's no additional interface, network configuration or structural changes.

Siedle IQ devices are mounted like any other in-house telephone. IQ in-house telephones just require an additional supply unit to provide a stable Wi-Fi connection. Siedle offers a suitable unit for every requirement.

In the case of new systems, commissioning is carried out during initial programming. When replacing older in-house telephones, Siedle IQ is commissioned using a simple teach-in process. Specialist knowledge and programming software are not needed. Feature and security updates are then automatically installed.

Door release via Wi-Fi and mobile phone network

Once the IQ in-house telephone has been installed, the user can connect their smartphone to it themselves. The Siedle app offers the usual impressive voice transmission and full audio functionality, even when retrofitted. Residents can speak with visitors on the doorstep and open the door for them via Wi-Fi at home or the mobile phone network when on the move. Up to 4 mobile devices can be integrated.

Siedle IQ BTS completes the IQ product pallet for mobile door communication. Siedle IQ is already available for 6+n and 1+n, and therefore for millions of intercom systems which have been installed in the market.

Siedle has won an award for the principle of sustainable and digital modernisation: A jury at the German Design Council presented Siedle with the renowned German Innovation Award 2021.

Siedle app: data security located in Germany

Mobile door communication with the Siedle app works via Wi-Fi and the mobile phone network. The encrypted connection to the Siedle server forms the basis. The IT processes behind this, which also include data exchange with the server, are certified according to ISO 27001. Located in Germany, the Siedle server represents our investment in the future and is at the heart of the intelligent Siedle IQ system.
