Think bigger: Siedle IQ Touch
For large residential complexes
04.03.2026
Siedle is expanding the IQ product family with a video door station with touch display. IQ Touch brings the advantages of the IP system to larger projects. The touch display goes hand in hand with the expansion of the Internet platform. In future, Siedle will provide additional services for the housing industry on this platform.
The new services will save property managers a lot of travelling and expensive personnel deployment. Resident names, for example, can be changed digitally via the IQ platform or app. Asset and project management, maintenance and access control can also be carried out remotely. "The most important development goal of IQ is that it makes life easier for all users, facilitates work and simplifies processes. This is particularly true for professional use in the housing industry. The operation of large residential complexes requires low-maintenance technology with a good price-performance ratio that can be relied on for years to come," says Peter Strobel, Managing Director Market and Innovation at Siedle.
The IQ platform is the centrepiece of the system: It maps the projects, connects all users and enables remote administration. Siedle is continuously expanding the system with new functions and digital services. Security updates are installed automatically. And the data is secure: All Siedle servers are located in Europe.
Smart search, intelligent functions
With the image memory, residents can view snapshots of missed visitors later. For data protection reasons, the function is initially switched off; an electrician must activate it via the IQ Config app. The resident can then use it in their Siedle app.
Low-barrier door communication
The user interface of the door station follows the IQ motto of maximum simplicity. The smart search function makes tedious scrolling superfluous – it processes entries immediately and suggests relevant entries.
Access is controlled by an integrated MIFARE DESFire reader and a code lock. The door can be opened keylessly via the Siedle app. The status display enables barrier-free operation at the door. The camera delivers razor-sharp images with a wide angle of coverage and night vision function. The user interface is activated by a proximity sensor; a cleaning mode makes maintenance easier.
Simple installation and commissioning
The door station can be operated via LAN/PoE or WLAN with an external power supply. The surface-mounted device is easy to install, even on insulated walls. Commissioning is just as easy: It can be prepared during operation or carried out on site, either via the IQ Config app or via the IQ platform. Both methods guide you through the process step by step and are therefore also suitable for less experienced employees.
The market launch of IQ Touch is scheduled for October 2026.
