Siedle Access 8 connects locations and Systems
Networked servers. Centralised management. Local autonomy.
11.03.2026
Siedle is expanding its IP door communication system Access. The Access 8 release enables cross-location networking of Access systems. This means that the full range of Siedle functions can be utilised while retaining local autonomy.
With Access 8, the system can connect several Access servers across different locations. The servers communicate with each other, allowing independent systems to be connected to form a networked overall system – without losing local autonomy. Networking creates the basis for distributed building structures and large areas. Companies can divide their sites into several servers and manage them centrally, while each system continues to work independently.
Shared areas – such as central underground car park entrances – can be controlled across systems. Different owners or construction sites can thus be mapped in a standardised Access architecture.
Cross-server video communication
The release enables cross-system video communication. Door calls can be received and operated across different systems. This also applies to central concierge units that can be reached from all connected locations. This creates a scalable and flexible operating structure that can be adapted to complex areas.
Stable operation and flexible Organisation
Access 8 enables projects with larger or distributed structures – including industrial areas, office buildings, neighbourhood developments and upmarket residential complexes. With this release, Siedle Access supports planners, system integrators, installers and operators who require a scalable architecture with centralised management and high operational reliability.
The release is expected to be available in the second half of 2026.
