Bestseller: Siedle Access with Siedle Steel
Initially the planners of the new business complex assumed that the access control and building communication would need to be installed separately. However, the IP-based Siedle Access Professional integrates both systems. The textiles company Bestseller is also fascinated by Siedle design and the possibilities offered by the one-off production concept of the Siedle Steel design line.
A fascination for function and form
The requirements: The building is both the head office and entrance to the urban quarter. When it comes to design and aesthetic, the benchmark is high. The technical requirements for building communication are no minor matter. One access control system must control the access profiles and switching processes which are needed for 800 work stations, exhibition and function rooms.
The Siedle concept: Siedle Access Professional integrates seamlessly in the existing IP network, links building technology and special functions. In conjunction with the Siedle app, the system forwards door calls to mobile end devices if the reception cannot be manned. The aesthetic and the high-quality materials of the Steel design line match the architectural environment.
The components: The Siedle Access Professional IP system, two free standing pedestals, ten custom-made door stations, two of which mounted on glass and two flush-mounted each from the Siedle Steel design line, code lock Siedle Vario, Siedle video panel and Siedle app.

How does the IP system work at Bestseller?
When it comes to business premises with complex requirements and stringent needs, the Siedle Access Professional IP system comes into its own.
Siedle Access Professional is an open system. Virtual in-house telephones, a concierge software, the Siedle app and selected third-party devices all add to the variety offered by Siedle indoor stations .
The Siedle app can be used 24/7. If the concierge is not at their desk, the Siedle video panel forwards the calls from all door stations to their smartphone.
The lift only travels to certain floors if specific codes are entered. To do so, the code lock installed from the Siedle Vario design line is directly linked to Siedle Access Professional.
A design that is in harmony with its environment
The flush-mounting system made of aluminium with black coated mounting level subtly picks up on the facade texture. It contains a video camera, door loudspeaker, call button and code lock.
The stainless steel body and aluminium front of the pedestals in the foyer and underground garage pick up on the materials in the environment. The individual function modules are ergonomically arranged.
Each individual system in the Siedle Steel design line is unique. Mounted on glass, this door station impresses with stainless steel and a paintwork finish to match the carrier.
Controlled access to the building is possible everywhere. Wherever speech and camera functions are not required, Siedle Steel incorporates individual access control elements.
