Exchange of door stations and letterboxes

The characteristic loudspeaker grill of the TL 111 series shaped the face of Siedle and millions of entrance areas. After decades of use, many of these classic devices are in need of a facelift or are slowly coming to the end of their life.

The typical shape is retained: The CL 111 variant from the Siedle Classic design line has been specially developed for replacing the TL 411 series. It comes with up to six bell buttons and the front panel fits exactly on the old screw connections. This makes mounting easy; built-in housing, installed cables, line rectifiers and indoor call stations all remain in use.

When the TL 411 series was superseded, we fitted modules from the successor system Siedle Vario 511 in an adapter plate which fits on the flush-mount housing of the TL 411. Therefore this type of mixed-construction system can also be replaced with ease with the Siedle Classic CL 111 replacement model.

Sustainability proves effective as part of a product strategy: Siedle offers retrofit systems for old letterboxes and letterbox systems without the need for an adapter. These simply use the existing flush-mount housing. Any existing electrical installation can often be used too, which reduces the amount of effort and expense and mess.

The renovated letterbox system is designed to last as long as the old one. The stainless steel pass-through flaps are soft closing. The engravable grip bars are made of the same material with the very same opulent strength. A marked contrast to the bent sheet metal seen on many letterboxes.

Retrofit systems are available from stock for the three most popular versions of the old TL 411 letterbox series. The dimensions of the front panel, the mail slot and the fixing holes are designed to match those of the existing housing.
