The lettering on the buttons is made from durable, transparent plastic and is placed over a film backing.

Lettering for Siedle Steel

Lettering for Siedle Steel is just as individual as the design line itself. The inscribable surface is variable. Foil and screen printing allow a free choice of typography and colour, as well as the addition of logos and other images. House numbers are produced as elegant, raised digits. Metal call buttons are available with lasering, engraving or engraving with black filling. The lettering on the plastic buttons is placed over a film backing.

Laser lettering – standard for metal surfaces

Door station in the Siedle Classic and Siedle Steel design lines now come with laser lettering as standard, with name and house numbers, street and company names, symbols, logos and other individual information. In the case of Siedle Steel, the buttons for the code lock and the call display also have laser lettering.

Lettering for Siedle products

We recommend our lettering service, as it precisely coordinates the typeface and size of the lettering with the product design. In addition, professional lettering does not fade or curl, and is resistant to moisture.

The letters and digits are cut from the cover plate in the typical Siedle typography to reveal the mounting plate below. This is exclusive to Siedle Steel. This method is suitable for lettering that does not need to be changed.

Engraving

For the Steel and Classic design lines, lettering and images are milled into the surface. On full-surface engravings, machining marks are visible as lines. Subsequent changes are not possible.

The lettering ink is applied directly to the surface of the Siedle Vario, Steel or Classic door stations. The print is extremely durable and weather resistant. It cannot be removed without damaging the surface. This means the process is not suitable for changing lettering.

Foil lettering is easy, low cost, high contrast and UV resistant. From a font size of 10 and above, adhesion strength is very good. The foil cannot be removed without damaging the surface. For Siedle Vario, Siedle Classic and Siedle Steel.

This method is extremely versatile and can be used to print any image or even photos. The weather-resistant foil is printed and applied flat across the surface, making it easy to replace. The underlying material remains visible on unprinted areas. We use this method for the Steel, Classic and Vario design lines.
