About the Vitra Design Museum
The Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany is one of the world’s leading design museums. The museum holds up to 10 exhibitions each year on a wide range of topics from the world of design and architecture, which are shown in the museum building by Frank Gehry, the ‘Schaudepot’ by Herzog & de Meuron and other locations on the Vitra campus. The exhibitions are complemented by talks, guides tours, workshops and other educational offerings. Many of the museum’s exhibitions are shown in partner museums around the world as touring exhibitions. The work of the Vitra Design Museum is based on its unique collection of furniture, lights and interior design. The international museum team comprises over 50  curators, academics and other experts.
