Product spectrum: At the threshold

Siedle launches the first door loudspeaker onto the market in 1935. Since then, this traditional firm has concentrated its inventive ingenuity on perfecting intercom systems. Today, Siedle develops, produces and integrates every aspect of modern communication in and around buildings. The spectrum ranges from letterboxes, lighting, video surveillance and access control through orientation and signage systems to the interlinking of IP networks with telephone communication and building systems technology.

The Siedle perspective takes in communication not just at the door but throughout the whole building. Because the threshold forms the transition between the inside and the outside, its significance extends much further. When movement sensor modules at the boundary of the land switch on the light, the camera sends images from the entrance to the inside, visitors are identified by their biometric features and are guided through a building by a signage system, these are all aspects that go to make up the threshold. Siedle systems integrate all these functions to create an integral whole which is a perfect synthesis of function and design.

Individuality as a guiding principle

Siedle communication systems are as individual as their users. The beautifully proportioned design guarantees a timeless appeal and blends into any architectural environment. How users decide to configure this basis in each individual case is a matter of personal style. From the colour through to the functional scope, Siedle products adjust to the personal preferences and needs of the client. The principle of maximum design freedom permeates through the whole of the product range. This finds its most consistent expression in the high-end system Siedle Steel: Steel systems are planned and produced as one-off installations according to customer specification.
