Good Design Award for Compact Select sets and handsfree telephones

Siedle receives the Good Design Award 2008 for the Compact Select sets and handsfree telephones. This means that the sets which were launched in April of this year have already won five prestigious design awards. The Good Design Award is conferred by the Jury of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in Chicago on the most innovative products worldwide.
The award is one of the most prestigious accolades in existence; the prize-winning products are given an honoured place in the permanent exhibition of the Chicago Athenaeum. After Siedle had bagged the prize in the previous year for its Siedle Steel communication system, the panel of judges went on to distinguish no fewer than two more products form the Furtwangen-based manufacturer: the new Compact Select sets and the handsfree telephones.

Both the Compact Select sets and the handsfree telephones had already previously received the red dot product design award, and been nominated for the German Design Prize – the number one German design award. The Compact Select sets were also conferred with the Design Plus Award; The handsfree telephones also received the quality award ! "ausgezeichnet! Universal Design“.
