Successful trade fair appearance for Siedle
Siedle’s appearance at the bi-annual world leading trade fair for architecture and technology in Frankfurt was a resounding success. There was an overwhelming number of visitors at the stand, the enthusiasm in the new product features exceeded all expectations.
The increase in the number of visitors speaks for itself: “Compared to 2012, visitor numbers were up just under 24 per cent” reports Sales Manager Joachim Beyer. This places Siedle well ahead of the trade fair as a whole, which reported an 8 per cent increase in visitor numbers. Beyer was particularly gratified about the quality of visitors: The Light+Building was attended predominantly by decision-makers from the trade and wholesalers as well as responsible large-scale project managers.
The Furtwangen-based company also scored with its innovative trade fair stand concept and, needless to say, with its product innovations: “Our new products met with a highly enthusiastic response”, says Joachim Beyer, “as they offer enormous potential scope for practically every customer”. The new cameras and smart gateways were particular highlights of the exhibition. The new Siedle cameras make for a substantially extended field of vision in front of the door; with pick-up angles of 130 and 180 degrees respectively, nothing and nobody has anywhere to hide. The smart gateways link the In-Home bus, Siedle’s most widespread installation system, to the whole world of mobile communication and the new Siedle app. This makes them ideal for new buildings, as well as for the flexible extension of the many Siedle systems already in existence. There was also enthusiastic applause for the newly developed cordless video intercom Siedle Scope, complete with app, and for the renovation product range.
Overall, the world’s biggest light and building technology fair was attended by 211,500 visitors, 44 per cent of them having made the journey from abroad.
