More functionality for Siedle Classic
Siedle expands the Siedle Classic design line to create a variable system. A range of modular functional elements and a design grid permit the configuration of individual door stations. Siedle Classic now with integrated letterboxes, access control and movement sensor module.
Purist design, new functionality
With a language of form which is uniquely its own, Classic now blends equally well into existing building stock and modern architecture. The extensively widened functional spectrum now also includes not only access control with fingerprint reader, electronic key and code lock, but also a key-operated switch, movement sensor module, house numbers and letterboxes. The system is also able to accommodate the electronic status display which allows Siedle to comply with the requirements of the new DIN 18040 "Barrier-free construction" standard. Siedle produces all Classic systems in solid aluminium, brass or stainless steel, which can be chrome plated, painted in accordance with the RAL chart or coated in a high-gloss brass colour finish.
Letterboxes
Where it makes sense to separate post reception from door communication, separate letterboxes can be installed. However, in most cases a combination of letterbox and duplex intercom system is recommended. This covers the central functions at the house entrance. The letterboxes have a key convenience function in common: The pass-through flap closes with a gentle damping action. This puts an end to annoying rattling noises, and the letterbox remains firmly closed even in high winds. All letterboxes comply with the European standard DIN EN 13724.
New buttons
Siedle has also redesigned the call buttons of the Classic system. The rectangular shape with its slight radii blends in with the redesign of the overall system. The backlit standard call buttons made of transparent, high-resistance plastic do not have any visible fixture, but can still be opened from the front. Call buttons are additionally available in the solid material of the metal front. They underpin the solid design and high quality of the system and help to protect against vandalism.
