Universal Design Award 2011 for Scope
Furtwangen, 16.03.2011
Distinction for user convenience

Scope is the proud recipient of the Universal Design Award 2011 for excellent and at the same time self-explanatory product design. This Award is conferred by the panel of judges on products designed to permit simple and intuitive use.

Simplicity of operation is particularly crucial with complex products which combine a wide range of functions - such as Scope. The first mobile video call station is at the same time a wireless landline telephone, and also controls building functions such as lighting and shading.

According to the experts behind the Universal Design Award, users would rather not be consciously aware of the complexity behind this type of product. Simple, intuitive operation, independent of age or origin, is becoming an ever more important issue for many users.
