| Siedle Access makes door communication part of the IP world. From the door controller to the call station, every device is compatible with the international standard for infrastructure in communication and data networks, structured wiring. Access integrates seamlessly into an IP network, adding the whole functional scope of Siedle system technology, from speech connection using video and intercom through to complex switching and control functions. |

More performance
The use of digital transmission technology in the IP system lifts the range restrictions inherent with analogue technology, and extends the number of speech circuits or video connections. IP addressing permits very high numbers of users (>1000), as well as providing simple management. By using highly efficient encoding processes (G.711/G.722 and H.264), a high standard of audio and video quality is achieved, coupled with a low bandwidth requirement. |
Demarcation from DoorCom IP
Unlike the DoorCom IP interface, Access does not create a transition between a classical Siedle installation system and the network, but is based fully on established IP standards. Siedle Access does not create a connection to the network - it becomes part of the network. DoorCom IP is still retained in the portfolio for linking In-Home bus or Multi installations to a network. |
No specialist knowledge
The application of structured wiring in accordance with DIN EN 50173 and intelligent connection technology, which allows the use of standard available network components, guarantee simple planning, commissioning and maintenance of the Siedle Access system infrastructure. Even for large-scale projects, extensive Siedle-specific specialist knowledge is not required. |
Investment security
Reverse compatibility with Siedle Multi ensures investment security in existing installations. Multi systems can be connected to Siedle Access via an interface in the future. This ensures that implemented systems remain future-proof while profiting from the extended scope of the new system. |
Market launch and delivery date
To guarantee operating reliability in accordance with Siedle standards right from the start, we will be introducing Siedle Access from 2011 initially in pilot projects in which we will be closely involved in a supporting role from the planning stage through to implementation. |
