Who is standing in front of the door?
Protecting an apartment with locks and bolts against burglars has got to be a good thing. But not all our less desirable visitors come to call with a glass cutter and jemmy. Some of them simply ring at the doorbell. This is why the safety rule number one is always: Never open the door before you know who is on the other side.
Barrier-free construction is about far more than installing wheelchair ramps and widening doors. Buildings also have to overcome functional hurdles, for example for those who have hardly any hearing. Communication systems from Siedle help to make this happen.
Step by step to the perfect door intercom
More security and convenience? Technology to make life easier and create an entrance which reflects your style? Try out for yourself how good an intercom, video camera, letterbox and movement sensor module can look – just by playing around with the online configurator from Siedle.
Red Dot: Best of the Best for Video Panels
The third design award for the new video panels is a very special one: The Red Dot Best of the Best award is only conferred on very few selected products.
A warm welcome!
Finally the spring has arrived. The days are growing longer, people are gravitating towards the outdoors – and are pleased to welcome even spontaneous visitors. The video panels from Siedle tell you immediately who is in front of the door.
iF product design award for video panels
The Industrie Forum Design judges have conferred the iF product design award 2014 on the deluxe video panels from Siedle. Following on from the German Design Award 2014, this marks the second landmark award for the panels.
A warm welcome!
Anyone considering converting or modernizing a property should pay particular attention to the entrance. Because it can be seen as the calling card for the entire building. Details such as the technology used at the door are decisive: They not only have to function perfectly but provide greater convenience and look good.
Good Design Award 2014 for video panels
The internationally prized German Design Award 2014 has been conferred by the German Design Council on the new video panels from Siedle. In the Industrial Goods and Materials Category, their outstanding design quality earned them a "Special Mention".
A simple fingerprint opens the box
Smart letterboxes from Siedle can do far more than simply receive the mail. From now on, searching through a bag in the cold to find the letterbox key is a thing of the past. The secret: a letterbox with a new built-in intelligence and operation by fingerprint recognition.
Attractive, smart and durable
Purist design, solid metal and smart functions: The new Siedle Classic provides everything you could conceivably need at the front door.
Look who's talking
Are the neighbour's children ringing because they have forgotten their key? Or might it be a friendly acquaintance from the other side of town? The extra-large video image of the new Siedle panel allows you to see straight away who is at the door. Extreme operating simplicity is another major benefit.
"You have mail"
Letterboxes from Siedle can do far more than simply receive the mail. Connection with the door communication system makes for more intelligent letterboxes and greater convenience. An example of this is the new mail notification system.
Everything in view
In June, Siedle launched new video panels – featuring an extra-large monitor, brilliant picture reproduction and a touchscreen in the deluxe models.
High-tech in a classic guise
Purist design, solid metal and a wide range of functions: Siedle has supplemented the door stations of the Classic design line with the inclusion of a number of intelligent functions for the entrance area.

More convenience: High-tech at the letterbox

Style-confident into spring
Spring is just around the corner. The first warming rays of the sun draw people out of their homes, friends and family are more likely to simply drop by. How convenient to be able to see who is ringing at the door. Modern video intercom systems from Siedle provide a safe overview of what’s outside the door, and will adjust to blend in with individual styles.
Siedle in the Hong Kong Design Institute
The red dot design museum in Essen is joining with the Die Neue Sammlung Museum of Munich to stage an exhibition of German design in the Hong Kong Design Institute. "German Design Standards – from Bauhaus to Globalisation" will be showcasing historic exhibits and contemporary product design from December. The exhibition will feature several prize-winning Siedle products.
Security – but with impeccable style
In wet and inclement weather, our own homes become a place of refuge. The last thing we want here is to be disturbed. But when the doorbell rings, we want to know who is calling. Video intercom systems from Siedle provide a safe overview of what's outside the door, and will adjust to blend in with individual styles.
Special distinction for Siedle
With the German Design Award, the German Design Council distinguishes pioneering products. This year, the renowned body awarded a new accolade for the first time, entitled "Special Mention".
Siedle supports Ensemblehaus Freiburg

No key? Not a problem!
Security and convenience are something all of us seek. The benefits many of us enjoy at work can now be used to improve how we use our homes too: Electronic door release systems such as fingerprint readers, no-contact door releases or code locks.
Am I at home? That depends.
Do I want to be available or not? When you receive a phone call, you can make that decision yourself - depending what the display tells you. The same system now works with visitors outside the front door:
Display window to the door
Lean back and relax: After a strenuous day at work you finally arrive home. You kick off your shoes and sink into the sofa with a favourite book – at last your time is your own. Just then comes a ring at the door…
