Everything is connected

Digital communication networks door access and makes the threshold a mobile phenomenon. But who do we actually want to connect with – and how? The new issue of the Siedle Magazine "Architecture at the Threshold" is sounding out the potential of modern building communication and explains how Siedle is opening up additional design and technical scope with new partnerships. Because everything is connected with everything else.

The theme of the fourth issue of the magazine is the lead concept that "everything is connected“. Siedle presents the wide-ranging possibilities available for building communication: Apps receive the door call including live video image at the smartwatch. Video panels bring door communication and KNX building communication together. And the new delivery box ensures that packages can be safely received and stored if people are away from home.

The magazine also highlights exciting background topics from different perspectives. What does ever more mobile technology mean for the channels that connect inside with outside? How do new design and functions affect barrier-free construction? Which economic and economic potential can be leveraged from changing the use of existing buildings? And what's the deal with Siedle's return to its historic roots in the radical Antivilla architecture project? The magazine is available free of charge from Siedle and all its parters in the electrical trade. Find out about innovations from Siedle up close and personal: In a Siedle Exhibition Centre, at one of Siedle's authorized studio partners or another Siedle Partner. All the addresses are available from www.siedle.de/bezugsquellen.
