Electronic and electrical devices are becoming ever more complex, and their components ever more sensitive. The risk that they could be damaged by radiation emitted by other devices or themselves emit interference has increased considerably.
Siedle therefore tests all devices for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). EMC acceptance is a recognized quality characteristic and is a condition for issue of the familiar CE mark. External companies benefit from the high standard of the EMC laboratory as a service for the development of their products.
The independent EMC lab at Siedle tests not only the interference immunity of electrical devices, but also whether they radiate interference.
Measurements are performed in compliance with national and international standards, and encompass: • Interference from electrical and magnetic fields • Interference from radio waves • Conducted interference
